Please help
Hello All,
I'm facing a problem during my research. As already mentioned before, I have developed my framework around the pillars of people, process, technology and strategy using which I will try and develop a implementation methodology which will be best suted for India.
The major differences of KM methodologies around the world are in terns of the people issues. Process, technology and Strategy in most of the cases are the same. In the Indian context strategy plays an important role, because of our non-compitetive and non-innovative approaches however by far the most important difference that I percieve is in the people issues. I have been working on the Change Management issues recently, but I'm not finding enough text in this context. All that I have prepared is from the limited experience that I have drawn from the industry interaction that I have had. Please put across any references or your experiences.
Will be eagerly awating your replies
Cheers
Sarup

Tough I cannot help you with your specific cultural issues in regards of India (and I bet you have plenty of different national cultures and sub-cultures to take into account) I would recommend to use kmpings (http://www.highcontext.com/kmpings/) to make your new blog more visible to the international KM weblogging community.
Best regards

Sarup,
To anlyse any issue that you might be finding in imlementing KM in India, you need evolve a framework. For analysing the people issues one must segregate the personal motives from the organisational culture. Since Indian culture has been dominated by the phenomenon of group think and group shift you might find taht Most often. Most often you find that particular person becomes the bottleneck in implementing in KM / Sharing etc and if you know how to tackel him you have oone the battle.
So to evolve any framework one must be cognizant of this culture variation from US / Europe where people are independent and are driven by personal goals.
Cheers
